As a member, Connecticut Main Street Center will help guide your community along the important steps needed for a successful revitalization program.  Membership in Connecticut Main Street Center entitles your community to the following benefits:

• Downtown Revitalization Institute: educational workshops, training, forums
• Preservation of Place grant program: technical assistance grant program for preservation and revitalization initiatives
• Connecticut Main Street Awards of Excellence program: statewide recognition for outstanding projects and partnerships
• Member networking events, throughout the state, for like-minded professionals encouraging peer networking and information sharing
• Advocacy / Public Policy: CMSC advocates on behalf of Connecticut’s historic downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts
• Opportunities to share information about your community and promote through CMSC’s quarterly newsletter, “Main Street Navigator”
• Member alerts and on-going communication regarding topical issues and pertinent information
• Access to onsite and telephone consultation by CMSC staff and guidance toward designation, should your community qualify
